According to the infamous wisdom at 4Chan, apparently iPhone’s track where you take pictures by throwing the GPS coords into the meta data …

We’ve been discussing at work on how iPhone’s track where you take your photo’s by placing the GPS coordinates within the pictures meta data information.  Should you be concerned?  No, unless you post pictures of yourself doing things that are illegal online …

Thus far after reviewing/testing phones Android and Blackberry powered phones seem to be safe!

Tech Fun

Not sure that most of you know that I’m an avid Unix fan .. (flavors such as Linux, FreeBSD, and Solaris)  … as of recent I’ve been trying out new varations of a Windows desktop replacement and I’ve stumbled upon liking Ubuntu (only because its working favorously well on my Sempron 2800+ spare craptop) because of its “prettyness” … Fast and pleasing to the eye. 

Linux is surely catching up!

Just need to familiarize myself with Gimp, and find a decent editing app for my applications (PHP, etc.) that I write from time to time.

Web Developement/Humor

Busy Busy – I’ve about finished the rounds on a blog powered by Wordpress which I’ve got to say in its simplest form is quite robust when it comes to a simple blog …  The website I threw togeather was for a photography operation by the name of Lauren Harris Photography … been a real pleasure to work with as she has given me access to about 700+ gigs of pictures for possible use which is ALWAYS a plus … especially sense designing websites is a pass time for me.  Not the best I am … but I can be…
